Harvest, Eagles and Puppies?

Gosh, it's been almost a month since I updated the blog. It really is true that time flies when you are having fun! Fun is exactly what I have been having at the shop. Every time we get new fabric in, it's like Christmas. and I am like the kid waiting anxiously for time to open the presents!

We have received a lot of new fabrics in the shop this month. We have apples, stars and blackberries. These go nicely with our other harvest fabrics. Next up, we got in a multi-colored flower fabric and a lovely stripe in bright primary colors to compliment one of the fabrics we already had in the shop, the flip-flops.

As a sponsor of Quilts of Valor, we always like to have a nice selection of patriotic fabrics in stock. This month, we added four new fabrics to our patriotic fabrics. These are from Windham Fabrics.

This next piece is from Quilting Treasures. It's a fun panel from the Golden Books series, that makes into a book. It goes together quickly. Flea suggested that we carry this fabric in the shop. Can you guess why it's his favorite?

That's right, The Poky Little Puppy has come to Sew What. We added the panel to make the book, or you could cut the panel apart and make blocks out of the pages to make a quilt. There are two companion fabrics in the shop as well as a nice mint green with multi-colored polka dots, and a larger multi-colored dots on white. Either would go well with Poky.

One thing we are slowly working on is adding to our line of wide backing fabrics. This month's addition is a nice soft pink tone on tone in the Pine Boughs pattern.

I think that covers all the new fabrics that have arrived since my last post.
Check back soon for the date for our next Free Kids Class. I will post it as soon as we get the date set.

Until next time, happy quilting!
